ABC Wednesday—Y is for "yummy"

I had some delicious food in newly discovered (for me)
restaurants when I was in Paris.  But our best meal of the day
was often this one—collected on the way back to the apartment
and enjoyed with a glass (or two) of wine as we
rehashed the high points of the day and planned the next.

Okay, this stuff is beyond yummy, but
for me it was mostly a "visual" feast.

And, of course, I'm Dreaming of France.]

  1. I'm with you on the best meal being the marvelous bread, a variety of cheeses and meat -- served up in the apartment or in the park, you can't beat it! Happy New Year!

  6. Yum...cheese (my favourite food). I gave Lorne a really nice cheeseboard for Xmas and went to the British Home shop and got him 4 specialty cheeses that I hope he'll share with me! Happy New Year!

  10. The basics are sometimes the best, but I must confess I love lingering in a French restaurant and not having to clean up. Thanks for playing along today. Here’s my Dreaming of France meme

  11. We've had foraged dinners most nights in Paris- we tend to eat out for lunch and forage amazing things on the way home. Sometimes with red, sometimes with bubbly. You've got one of my favourite cheeses too! The Morbier.
