If you've ever been to the Louvre and seen the
Venus de Milo, then you have some idea of
how long I stood here before I was able
to capture her all on her own.
(Even so—and somewhat ironically—I did have
to use Photoshop to delete one errant arm.)

I had a fine comment but Meeps sat on my mouse. Grrr
ReplyDeleteOK , what I wanted to say was that the tourists and their horrendous selfies have about ruined the Louvre. I think a night tour is the only way left.

I'm glad that you were patient because this is a rare view of her sans crowds.
ReplyDeleteYou must have been there a very very long time.
ReplyDeleteHello to Meeps Virginia :)
Love this dear and creative one. Someday I will view her from that angle. I love your header, your quotes. Can't wait to share this with Jeff.
ReplyDeleteMiss our talking days at the magazine.
Love,

How sweet you are! I miss those days too (sigh).
DeleteThere's a totally different feeling, seeing her alone here. Terrific shot. Thanks for playing along with Dreaming of France.
